Vito A. Palmieri, Esq
Senior Counsel & Founder
Vito A. Palmieri earned his Bachelor of Science from St. John’s University in 1986 and his Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1989. He is admitted to practice law in New York and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Beginning his legal career as an intern with the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Palmieri later served as a Nassau County Assistant District Attorney before co-founding several law firms. In 2019, he established Palmieri Law PC, where he continues to handle a broad range of litigation, including criminal defense, civil litigation, real estate, corporate law, and trusts and estates. A seasoned trial attorney, he has successfully tried both criminal and civil cases in State and Federal courts, including high-profile matters. Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Palmieri is a former President of the Nassau County Criminal Courts Bar Association and an active member of several legal organizations. He is also dedicated to civic engagement, supporting various charitable causes, including the Diabetes Research Institute. He resides in Nassau County with his wife and three children.

James DeFelice, Esq
Associate Attorney
James is an attorney with over 25 years of experience successfully representing individuals and companies in State and Federal Courts throughout New York State in litigation over a wide area of legal disciplines. He is one of a few attorneys in New York State that can successfully protect, defend, and mitigate the loss of clients’ freedom, wealth and livelihood no matter what the issue. Mr. DeFelice combines knowledge from over 25 years practicing across a wide array of disciplines in order to fight for the optimal result for clients. Often hired by other attorneys as trial counsel, he is a respected and savvy litigator. His client base throughout the years has ranged from the true “little guy” to the large multinational companies like Titleist, and ADI. Attending Franklin Pierce Law Center from 1995-1998,(NKA University of New Hampshire School of Law) one of the countries premiere schools for Intellectual Property Law, Mr. DeFelice honed his individual practice skills through the Law Schools exceptional clinical practice programs leading to an externship at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Countries only self-sufficient bureaucratic agency. For there, he remained in the Nations Capital for two years working for a top boutique firm managing a worldwide trademark portfolio for Cobra Golf. In 2001, Mr. DeFelice returned to his routes on Long Island where has practiced since.

Mark Ermmarino, Esq
Associate Attorney
Mark is an accomplished attorney with a strong background in appellate advocacy and criminal law. He earned his undergraduate degree from LIU Post, majoring in criminal justice and business, before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. During law school, Mark gained hands-on experience in bankruptcy law through his work in the law school clinic and also contributed to the Veterans Clinic, assisting with legal matters affecting veterans. He further expanded his experience at a local firm specializing in general practice, where he handled a broad range of legal issues. Mark spent three years at the Suffolk County Legal Aid Society, where he worked in the Appeals Bureau, handling complex legal research and appellate litigation. Additionally, he contributed to the County Court Bureau, assisting with case preparation, and analyzing intricate legal issues. Now at his current firm, he is leveraging his extensive experience to explore new opportunities that align with his strengths in a dynamic legal practice. His commitment to legal excellence, strategic advocacy, and analytical precision continues to define his career.

Darlene Jimenez
Paralegal & Office Manager
Darlene is the firm’s managing Paralegal and has been with the firm for twenty-five (25) years. Her areas of concentration and expertise is Real Estate, both residential and commercial, and banking. She also handles corporate purchases, commercial and corporate litigation, Probate Law and Estate Administration along with the daily management of the firm. Ms. Jimenez understands the stressful nature of real estate transactions and/or court proceedings and makes it her priority to communicate with our clients through each step of the transaction and/or case matter. Her strong client management skills have led to decades of solid professional relationships. Her many years of experience and loyalty have made her a critical asset to this firm

Ethan Irwin, Esq
Of Counsel
Ethan D. Irwin has been successfully practicing civil litigation for over 20 years, conducting trials in the Courts of the City of New York, as well as Nassau and Suffolk Counties. He has successfully prosecuted countless personal injury lawsuits. Prior to practicing as a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney, Ethan represented six Fortune 500 insurance companies, individual defendants, and was a Court Appointed Referee, having been appointed Referee in Nassau, Richmond and Kings Counties. Ethan was also qualified under Part 36 of the Rules of the Chief Judge of New York as a Guardian, Court Evaluator, Attorney for Alleged Incapacitated Person, and Counsel to Guardian. Ethan started The Irwin Law Firm, PLLC in August of 2020, after being the managing partner at a boutique personal injury law firm, with one office in Manhattan. Prior to practicing law, Ethan served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He then finished his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University and went on to graduate law school from St. John’s University. While at St. John’s University Ethan he served as a legal intern with the Brooklyn Defenders, which is a public criminal defense law firm. Ethan also volunteered to represent physically abused women seeking orders of protection from their alleged abusers. He does pro bono legal work for veterans as well. Ethan currently lives in Nassau County and during his free time advocates for clean drinking water as a member of the Bethpage Grumman Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant Restoration Advisory Board. Ethan is a happily married father of three wonderful children. When not practicing law, Ethan enjoys attending his childrens’ events, racing cars, and martial arts classes.

Tony Palmieri, Esq

Tony Palmieri is a seasoned legal and operational professional with a strong foundation in sports and entertainment. He earned a B.S. in Sport & Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina and a J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2020. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in May 2021. Tony began his career in boxing with an internship at New York-based promotion company Star Boxing, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become Vice President of Operations and Matchmaker. In 2024, he joined Overtime Boxing, a rapidly growing promotion, as Manager of Fighter Operations. With deep expertise in entertainment law, Tony focuses on talent management contracts in both the boxing and music industries. He has negotiated and drafted numerous venue, licensing, sponsorship, and brand partnership agreements, and regularly advises sports and entertainment businesses on complex legal matters. His work in boxing includes site agreements, promotional contracts, and bout agreements, always aligning legal precision with strategic business objectives. Since 2016, Tony has worked across nearly every facet of the boxing world, collaborating with world champions such as Chris Algieri, Joe Smith Jr., Oshae Jones, and Tiara Brown at premier venues like Madison Square Garden, The Forum, and Nassau Coliseum. In 2021, Tony became Executive Vice President of Long Island Boxing Charities, where he leads efforts to support retired fighters and fund opportunities for the next generation of boxing talent.

Bruno Codispoti, Esq

Bruno Codispoti is the founding member of Codispoti & Associates, P.C. He was formerly a partner in the law firm of Codispoti & Mancinelli, LLP which he founded in New York City in 1998. In 1985 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York. He received his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 1989. Bruno is admitted to practice law in New York State, United States District Court (Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York) and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Mr. Codispoti is a business attorney focusing in corporate, real estate, and intellectual property matters. Close to one-half of his practice is Federal and New York State litigation related to those areas of law, including judgment enforcement and appeals. Bruno provides general services to clients such as wills, trusts and estate administration. Mr. Codispoti is also fluent in Italian and has represented many Italian speaking individuals. Bruno is the Past President of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn (2012-2013) as well as Past President of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Rockland (2007-2008). He is also active in the Confederation of Columbian Lawyer Associations and a member of the National Italian American Bar Association, Brooklyn Bar Association (where he is the Chairperson of the Intellectual Property Committee) and the New York State Bar Association (Intellectual Property Committee member). Bruno was a member of the board of directors of The Italian Board of Guardians, Inc., a social services agency in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn since 1994 through 2009. He remains an active alumni of EXB fraternity from St. John’s University. Bruno is the former Legal Advisor of the Federation of Italian American Organizations in Brooklyn and was actively involved in the opening of Il Centro, the first Italian-American Cultural Community Center in New York City. Bruno has twice been honored with the Distinguished Italian-American Award, both by well respected Brooklyn based organizations - first in 2007 by the Van Westerhout Cittadini Molesi Social Club and then in March 2012 by the Federation of Italian American Organizations. In 2016, Bruno was honored by the Stars & Stripes Regular Democratic Organization 49th Assembly District. In addition to the above, he is currently the President of Catasal Realty, LLC, which leases offices to attorneys and other professionals. In 1989, Bruno married his childhood sweetheart, Bernadette Rizzi. In 2003, they moved to New City, Rockland County, New York, together with their son, Francis, but currently maintain a residence in Brooklyn. Bruno is active in local religious, civic and political matters and organizations in both Brooklyn and Rockland. He is an avid musician and enjoys many outdoor activities. Bruno has a very close relationship with his large and extended family and still maintains his friendship with many of his childhood friends.
